This Savage Garden song brings me back to my first teenage years at high school. I was listening to it on radio and despite not understanding what they said; there was something that I could feel the meaning and was influenced. And now when I take a look at the lyrics; I see there is a great harmony between the music and the lyrics; that is awesome!

This song is about a girl who was very shy and feels lonely. . . Now, I’m trying to look at it with literature glasses, I can find lots of metaphors, actually this poem is full of them. One of them is “somewhere in a private place / She packs her bags for outer space” Of course she is not preparing a bag, that means she is bored in where she lives but wants to go, and wants to live with her lover ..... “she's waiting for the right kind of pilot to come”. The pilot means, the right guy who could love her. And the word “pilot” is chosen because happiness is described as “flying” like the chorus says:” I would fly to the moon and back if you be my baby”.

And there is a sentence which is my favourite: “If love was red then she was color blind.”  Thanks to the Australian band they put my feelings into words.

A Museum Day

It was a cold day when I woke up and remembered that I must go to the İstanbul Modern Arts Museum. But when I dropped the Beşiktaş seaport, without any umbrella ( I am not good at carriying umbrella) it began to rain . Under the rain while I was hurriying to the museum a brunet tourist came near and asked the museum. So with the tourist, we together began to walk among all those Hubble-bubble stores with companionships of the waiters who were trying to take us to their stores as a customer.  In our hurry with my tourist we were walking trying to be less wet and I was always saying: "no we r going to the museum to the waiters. At the end we were at the enterence of the museum side and I just learned about the girl who was already came to Turkey from Mexico; for 4 days and meet the rain as soon as she arrived.

I said goodbye to her and began to walk my exhibition. Hüseyin Çağlayan 1994-2010 named. I watched the fashion show, read obout Hüseyin Çağlayan. Look to the manikins there. And have some impressions about the exhibition.

I can say that as many stylists, this one was so creative, interesting and different. His creation includes sometimes wearable outfits and sometimes utopic imaginations that you have no chance to see them on the street. Of course the bubble dress was only for show; and the dresses which has movement byself. It seems to combine technical skills and future dreams. And also this artist is interested in history. In one of his first works, he burried a silk dress with iron sand and then take it out of the ground and exhibit. That was his first success which make him known.
That was all of my impressions.
 And also next to that exhibition there was another one  named:” Discover Manga”. It was so nice.
I met the tourist again and take her opinion about the exh. She seemed she was enjoying.

Do you know what, despite of all those efforts of the stylist who is trying to be different and effective; all those fashion shows seems similar to me becouse always we watch creations made by male stylists for females. They apply their dreams to the models. But fashion shows for males allways are the same. But I think if that kind of a fashion show was made for male manikins, it would be more interesting. If one day I see a creation like this for guys ; that time I will feel that I saw a different fashion show.
